The technician is in charge of operating lathes & milling machine (non-CNC), and perform inspection, refurbishment, and reparation of turbo compressors, steam turbines, expanders, and other rotating equipment.

Client Details

The client is a leading turbomachinery provider.

Description

1. Operate lathes to produce both large and small parts.
2. Utilize milling machines for precision machining of small parts.
3. Select and prepare appropriate tooling for lathe and milling operations.
4. Undertake refurbishment projects to upgrade lathe and milling machines.
5. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of lathes and milling machines.
6. Actively participate in process improvement initiatives for the workshop.
7. Identify and document any deviations from quality standards.
8. Execute corrective actions to address identified quality issues.
9. Conduct preventive maintenance activities to maintain functionality and reliability of workshop equipment.
10. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on turbo compressors, steam turbines, expanders, and other rotating equipment.
11. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment following established standards and procedures.
12. Manage service costs, overheads, and service timelines in accordance with budget plans.
13. Champion high-quality service delivery, upholding the company’s service standards.
14. Conduct inspections and testing procedures to identify potential issues.
15. Detect defects and propose troubleshooting solutions to ensure optimal performance.
16. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement preventative quality assurance measures.
17. Regularly discuss work outcomes with supervisors to identify improvement opportunities.
18. Recommend and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of all service processes.
19. Generate regular reports containing key performance indicators.
20. Maintain a customer-centric approach, prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Profile

1. Knows how to operate milling machine & lathe machine (non-CNC / conventional) that are up to 10 tons.
2. Has in-depth experiences in performing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on turbo compressors, steam turbines, expanders, and other rotating equipment.
3. English skillset
4. Willing to be based in Surabaya
